Moroccan Oasis Festival reveals first names

It’s the perfect way to extend the summer this year: the debut edition of the Oasis Festival in Marrakech, that takes place in september. DJ Harvey, Derrick Carter, Âme, Adriatique, Agoria and Ellen Alien are among the first acts that were revealed today.

The first edition of Oasis takes place in the luxurious Fellah Hotel in Marrakech from 11 to 13 September with an all-star line-up that includes DJ Harvey, Âme, Agoria and exclusive back to back sets from Guy Gerber & Matthew Dear and Chloé & Michael Mayer. Adriatique, Axel Boman, BLOND:ISH, DJ Tennis and Will Saul also star in the first wave of acts announced today. With more acts still to be announced it’s shaping up to be the one of the most talked-about events of 2015.

In addition to the impressive music programme, Oasis will also offer a range of non-music delights to complete the festival like yoga, authentic Moroccan food, all sorts of local products and henna artists. With the centre of Marrakech just ten minutes from the festival it’s also the perfect opportunity to explore the city’s rich culture, historic sights, desert landscapes, souks, spas and cuisine. Check out the teaser below for the full program. Visit theoasisfest.com for more info and to book tickets.
