Started twenty years ago, Planet Rose is officially Holland’s longest running club night. Over the last months Nijmegen venue Doornroosje already celebrated this memorable anniversary with special appearances by Luke Slater, Oscar Mulero, Perc, Tripeo, DJ Rush, Alan Fitzpatrick and Nina Kraviz.
The Electric Deluxe takeover on March 28 promises to be another special night with appearances by label boss Speedy J., Irish experimental techno duo Lakker (mostly known for their groundbreaking work on Stroboscopic Artefacts and R&S) and Lucy, Speedy J.’s partner in crime in Zeitgeber. as well as a special live set by Manchester duo AnD, who released their uncompromising debut album ‘Cosmic Microwave Background’ on the label last year.
This saturday Doornroosje will also play host to a double label night that pairs the Dystopian imprint with the mighty Token label, featuring Rødhåd, James Ruskin, Ø [Phase], Kr!Z, Don Williams and Vril.
