Steve Bug’s Poker Flat Recordings has turned 15 this year. The former minimalmeister’s extending the anniversary celebrations with the retrospective compilation ‘Four Jacks – 15 Years of Poker Flat’ and a large Berlin birthday event in december.

Poker Flat has just released the first two parts of its ‘Four Jacks’ series, with part three and four coming out later this week and on december 1 respectively and a digital version planned a week after. The EP’s feature new and unreleased tracks by Trentemøller, youAndme, Josh Wink, John Tejada and Bug himself alongside new remixes by Taylor, Sebo K. and Audiofly.

Steve Bug on Poker Flat: ´I always thought it was important to build a label not only around the music, but also around people you want to be with. So in the beginning I asked a lot of my friends to produce some music for the label. Over the years the family tree grew and some leaves fell off, but the tree is still healthy and every few years we have new shoots showing their contribution to the family.´

On december 27 the Poker Flat crew will end the celebrations with a massive event in Berlin’s Salon Zur Wilden Renate with Martin Landsky, Marco Resmann, Daniel Dexter, SHOW/B and Cle behind the decks. More details are to be revealed soon.
