The party’s almost over for legendary Amsterdam club Trouw. The venue that brought Dutch house and techno clubbing to the next level will close its doors forever on january the 3rd.
There are still two weeks to go for the first Amsterdam club to receive a 24-hour permit in history, but Trouw has already issued a five minute movie to commemorate its legacy. The infamous Amsterdam nightclub is determined to go out with a bang. Moodymann and a host of residents will play at Trouw’s last christmas and Peter van Hoesen, John Talabot, Marcel Fengler, Steve Rachmad, Patrice Baumel are among a long list of DJ’s that will perform the club’s last rites. Trouw has not yet revealed the line-up for the final weekend. All presale tickets were sold in a matter of minutes, but there may still be some available at the door.
