Watch Derrick May and Francesco Tristano discuss their Weather Festival performance

The organisers of the Parisian Weather Festival have released a video interview with Derrick May and Francesco Tristano, discussing the project they will present at the festival’s opening concert, for which they will be accompanied by Macedonian composer Emin Dzijan and the Orchestre Lamoureux. Watch the two chat about the project, avantgarde classical music, the Parisian scene and French girls.

The third edition of the Weather Festival will take place from 4 to 8 June in Bois De Vincennes with an impressive roster that includes names like Lil’ Louis, Marcel Dettmann, Ben Klock, Ricardo Villalobos, Blawan, Speedy J, Robert Hood, Jeff Mills, Nina Kraviz, Seven Davis Jr., Four Tet, Floating Points, Motor City Drum Ensemble, Henrik Schwarz, Juan Atkins, Moritz von Oswald, Len Faki and Steffi.
