Chicago house music legend Felix ‘Da Housecat’ Stallings has announced a new album as Aphrohead for Crosstown Rebels in September. The first single ‘Let’s Prance’ will be out in June.

The Aphrohead alias was born back in 1993 as yet another outlet for the prolific Chicago producer, hailing the instant anthems ‘In The Dark We Live’, ‘Thee Lite’, ‘Thee Industry Made Me Do It’ and ‘Thee Underground Made Me Do It’ on halcyon labels Bush, Global Cuts, Power Music, Thee Blak Label and Radikal Fear.

The new album is preceded  by lead single ‘Let’s Prance’, featuring reworks from Art Department & BLUD, Radio Slave & Thomas Gandey and Christopher Trücher, who’s also the album’s co-producer. It´s expected to drop in September on Crosstown Rebels. Last year Stallings already released the limited edition one-sided 12” ´Grown Man Cry´ on the London label.
