Floorplan – Phobia (M-Plant)

[separator type=”thin”]

Robert Hood’s Floorplan album, released last summer, received an incredible amount of positive feedback and is being played in clubs worldwide every weekend. Frankly said we didn’t expect new material from Robert after his album releases this soon, but Hood luckily doesn’t rest on his laurels and delivers another banging Floorplan release.

The release called ‘Phobia’ includes two original tracks from Robert and a brilliant remix from Higher, one of the tracks on his full-length album, executed by no one less than Ben Sims.

‘Phobia’ is a ‘nasty’ club banger with an energetic drive which keeps rising towards the end of the track and is build around an incredible synth loop which is highly addictive. Ben Sims remix of ‘Higher’ also carries some lovely synth sounds, accompanied by sharp and hard-hitting percussion and a relentless clap. This remix definitely keeps you going during the early-morning on a rave. ‘Glory‘ is all about jacking Chicago House grooves. Preacher vocals, old-school claps and hypnotic looping synths.

Floorplan ‘Phobia’ is released on the 18th November and will be followed by a new Robert Hood two-tracker in December.

 Tracklist

1. Floorplan – ‘Phobia’

2. Floorplan – ‘Higher!’ (Ben Sims Remix)

3. Floorplan – ‘Glory B’
