Hailing from a small Swiss city famous for its watch making industry, Gaspard De La Montagne offers an entirely new perspective on techno with two strangely unique and highly atmsopheric tracks on Lausanne-based Creaked Records.
Imagine two massive ghost trains driving through the majestic Swiss Alps in the early morning mist and you’re almost there. One in the form of a mechanical galloping horse (‘Stallion’) and a huge freight train powering its way through a beautiful yet seemingly endless landscape (‘Steam’). Fantastic work that has a eerie melancholic quality, but sounds cold and detached at the same time. We love this here at House Cult HQ.
‘Stallion’ is out now on Creaked Records. Get it here.
