Modeselektor are responsible for the 50th and very last 50 Weapons record, the duo has just announced. The illustrious label’s last record is called ‘Trees’ and features the talents of singer Paul St. Hilaire.

Earlier this year the label announced its 50th record would be the last, as originally intended. Modeselektor: “50 Weapons was always meant to have 50 records only. It’s kinda sad that it’s over now, but it feels right and good. It will be out soon. Watch out for more info.”

The last 50 Weapons is called ‘Trees’ and features vocals by Paul St. Hilaire, with whom they’ve worked earlier on 2007’s ‘Let Your Love Grow’.

Over the last ten years the Berlin-based label has released records by Marcel Dettmann, Benjamin Damage, Bambounou, Anstam, Cosmin TRG, Shed, Phon.O and more recently Fjaak. Modeselektor also featured on the very first 50 Weapons record in 2005. Watch their goodbye video below.
